Provides optimal protection against water, grease and oil.
Scope:
This sealer is suitable for all types of untreated wood.
It it, for example, perfectly suited for furniture, parquet and floorboards.
Extremely suitable for (coffee) tables and parquet.
This is because of its high abrasion resistance and good water repellent properties.
Instructions:
Never handle Natural Wood Sealer on wet surfaces!!
Before use, sand the wood well and make it dust and grease free using, for example, paint cleaner or Wood clean.
The oil should preferably be processed in spaces with a temperature of about 15 – 20 degrees Celsius.
Apply the oil layer, undiluted, with a brush or roller and remove excess product with a cloth.
If it appears, after drying (approximately 3 hours, but this depends partly on ambient temperature, humidity and applied amount), that the first layer has roughened the wood, you can (after drying for about 3 hours) lightly sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper (P240 to P360).
Afterwards, apply the second layer according to the previously mentioned method.
By also lightly sanding the second (or last) layer of oil you can enhance the matt appearance of the furniture!
Post-treatment / maintenance advice:
Use Matt Polish as a maintenance product (2 to 3 times a year).
Consumption (directive):
± 10 m2 / per litre (partially depending on the type of wood).
Drying time:
Dust dry after 30 minutes, sand-able after 3 hours.
